Responsibilities

  • Manage kitchen budget, track costs, and optimize food and labor costs effectively.
  • Collaborate with the restaurant management to align menu offerings with customer demands.
  • Conduct regular kitchen inspections and audits to ensure operational excellence.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them to keep offerings innovative.
  • Resolve any arising issues quickly while maintaining high culinary standards.
  • Coordinate special dining events and ensure the smooth execution of each.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or similar executive level role.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with a creative culinary vision.
  • In-depth understanding of diverse culinary techniques and global cuisines.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene practices.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification in food services is highly desirable.
