Job Description

The Territory Sales Officer (TSO) 02F25 plays a critical role in achieving sales goals for a designated geographical area. Working under the regional sales manager, the TSO is responsible for developing strategies to increase sales volume and managing customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty. The role involves significant interaction with distributors, retailers, and end customers, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to negotiate and close sales deals effectively. By monitoring market trends and competitors' activities, the TSO will also identify new business opportunities and areas for growth. This position requires a proactive individual with a deep understanding of sales principles and the ability to work independently to meet defined targets.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve the monthly and yearly sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and stakeholders in the territory.
  • Conduct regular visits to retailers and distributors to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities within the territory.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to implement promotional plans and campaigns effectively.
  • Collect and report market intelligence on competitor activities and market trends.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to new and existing clients to maximize opportunities.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to maximize profit and benefit.
  • Provide sales forecasts and reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to expand network and promote products.
  • Mentor and guide junior sales staff to foster a positive sales environment.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a sales officer or in a similar sales position.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple accounts efficiently.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail in data interpretation.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the designated territory.
