Job Description

A Talent Sourcer plays an integral part in the recruitment team by identifying exceptional candidates who possess the skills and qualities necessary to meet the organization’s standards and demands. This role focuses on researching, identifying, and engaging passive and active candidates through various sourcing channels. A successful Talent Sourcer must have a deep understanding of the industry and company culture, allowing them to align the needs of the business with potential talent effectively. They leverage social networks, professional organizations, and internal databases to track down candidates. Additionally, they work collaboratively with recruiters to ensure there’s a robust talent pipeline for current and future roles. This position requires a proactive approach, strong communication skills, and a keen eye for talent.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough searches for candidates across multiple sourcing platforms and channels.
  • Create and maintain a strong candidate pipeline for current and future job openings.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and recruiters to define role specifications and requirements.
  • Proactively source potential candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, and networking events.
  • Evaluate candidate qualifications and pre-screen resumes to shortlist potential hires.
  • Initiate contact with prospective candidates through calls, emails, and social media platforms.
  • Develop strong relationships with potential candidates by understanding their career aspirations.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and innovative sourcing techniques for talent acquisition.
  • Track relevant data and metrics to analyze the effectiveness of sourcing methods.
  • Ensure the company’s employer brand is represented positively to all prospective candidates.
  • Craft and send personalized recruiting messages to attract top talent to the company.
  • Assist in organizing and participating in recruitment events to connect with potential candidates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Talent Sourcer, recruiter, or a similar role in HR.
  • Strong understanding of the full recruitment life cycle and candidate selection methods.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, resume databases, and professional networks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for candidate engagement.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and projects.
