Job Description

As a Store Keeper, you will play a crucial role in managing the inventory and products within our store. Your duties will include ensuring the smooth operation and organization of the store’s stocks, properly documenting inventory transactions, and maintaining an efficient storage system. You will work closely with the management team and suppliers to maintain adequate stock levels, handle deliveries, and ensure the quality of products. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will contribute to the store's productivity and customer satisfaction. Becoming a Store Keeper in our company involves more than just storing goods; it entails maintaining optimal inventory levels, preventing shortages or surpluses, and ensuring the availability of products to meet customer needs.


Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and store all incoming products and supplies with accuracy.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of inventory, including all movements and adjustments.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments for timely stock replenishments.
  • Ensure efficient inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies and losses.
  • Organize the storage space systematically to optimize space and accessibility.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels, reordering as necessary to meet demand.
  • Handle customer inquiries about stock availability and assist in the sales area when needed.
  • Perform regular audits and counts to verify the accuracy of inventory records.
  • Implement safety and cleanliness standards in the storage area to prevent accidents.
  • Support in the creation of requisitions and procurement plans for new inventory.
  • Manage returns, exchanges, and damaged goods according to company policies.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve overall inventory processes continuously.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics is a plus.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in inventory management or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and operate relevant machinery safely.
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work independently or within a team, demonstrating flexibility and reliability.
