We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products before they reach customers. You will be responsible for testing our software systems to detect and address potential issues to improve software quality and user satisfaction. You will work collaboratively with developers, designers, and product managers to understand the requirements and ensure software compatibility. The successful candidate will have a strong analytical mindset and keen attention to detail, ensuring that our systems operate seamlessly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for products.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand application features and requirements.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies meticulously.
• Perform testing on various software platforms to ensure full compatibility.
• Analyze test results to identify and report on areas for improvement.
• Ensure that software quality assurance processes are followed consistently.
• Participate in requirement reviews to provide input on software design and usability.
• Work closely with the QA team to coordinate testing activities systematically.
• Contribute to the development of automated testing strategies and tools.
• Review user interface design consistency, functionality, and user experience.
• Communicate test progress, results, and other relevant information to stakeholders.
• Continuously update skills and knowledge related to software testing technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
• Minimum of two years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Proven experience with both manual and automated testing tools and processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills to work effectively in a team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and software development life cycles.
• Experience with software testing tools such as Selenium or JIRA is preferred.
