Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design and execution of large-scale civil engineering projects.
• Develop project objectives, determine project specifications, and set project schedules.
• Oversee selection and procurement of necessary resources, including labor and materials.
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with engineering design standards and environmental regulations.
• Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards on all project sites.
• Prepare and present project progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Conduct project evaluations and assessments for process improvement opportunities.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and project team members.
• Negotiate with regulatory bodies to acquire necessary permits and licenses for projects.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges that may impact project outcomes.
• Foster a collaborative team environment to encourage innovative problem-solving techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in large-scale civil engineering project management.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery under tight deadlines and budgets.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor diverse teams.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Proficiency in project management software and civil engineering design tools.
