The Senior Automation Tester (.NET) is a critical position within our software development team, responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of software applications through rigorous automated testing processes. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive test automation suites for .NET applications. A key influence on project success, the Senior Automation Tester collaborates closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify testing requirements, develop testing strategies, and execute test plans that help deliver highly reliable software products. Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated testing strategies for .NET applications.
• Implement automated test scripts using industry-standard testing frameworks and tools.
• Collaborate with software developers to ensure comprehensive test coverage of code.
• Analyze testing results and provide detailed feedback to the development team.
• Identify, record, and track bugs to resolution in collaboration with developers.
• Enhance and maintain test automation scripts for regression testing.
• Continuously evaluate and improve the efficiency of testing processes and procedures.
• Ensure test environments are set up correctly and maintained for testing activities.
• Prepare and present test progress and quality reports to management and stakeholders.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in automation testing.
• Mentor junior testers in best practices for testing and automation.
• Participate actively in the software development lifecycle from planning to release.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in software testing and test automation.
• Strong understanding of .NET framework and related programming languages.
• Proficient in using automated testing tools such as Selenium or similar.
• Experience with test management and bug tracking tools like JIRA or TestRail.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in testing processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
