Job Description

A Sales Promoter for cosmetics plays a pivotal role in boosting sales and expanding brand reach by interacting directly with customers to educate them about the benefits and features of beauty products. Stationed within store premises, typically in department stores or beauty malls, this role requires a charismatic and persuasive individual who is knowledgeable about various beauty and skincare products. The aim is to create a compelling brand experience, engage potential customers, and help increase the company's market share by achieving sales targets. By understanding customer preferences and showcasing products effectively, the Sales Promoter enhances customer satisfaction and drives brand loyalty.


Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to promote and sell a range of cosmetic products.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of skincare and beauty products, ensuring accurate information delivery.
  • Achieve sales targets through proactive promotion and product demonstration.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and trials to persuade potential customers.
  • Keep the product display area organized and replenished at all times.
  • Gather customer feedback and provide insight to marketing teams for improvement.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge and cosmetic industry trends and innovations.
  • Report daily sales metrics and customer interactions to management regularly.
  • Participate in promotional activities and events to increase brand visibility.
  • Coordinate with retail partners to ensure promotional material is properly displayed.
  • Train new sales promoters on product knowledge and customer engagement strategies.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in sales or customer service roles is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge and passion for cosmetic and beauty products.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with customers.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a retail environment.
  • Ability to perform product demonstrations and explain product benefits clearly.
  • Flexibility to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
