Job Description

The QC Officer, or Quality Control Officer, plays a pivotal role in maintaining and ensuring the highest standards of quality in our products and processes. This role requires attention to detail, analytical skills, and a strong commitment to quality assurance to ensure the adherence to company and industry standards. As a QC Officer, you will be responsible for conducting quality checks, designing measures to test and verify the quality of production outputs, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations. You will work closely with production teams to address quality issues promptly and provide solutions to prevent recurrence, thereby playing a critical role in the overall success and customer satisfaction of our products.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and criteria for products and processes.
  • Collaborate with production teams to address and resolve quality-related issues effectively.
  • Prepare detailed quality assurance reports and document quality control activities accurately.
  • Analyze quality test results and provide recommendations for improvements in processes.
  • Monitor and verify compliance with company and industry quality standards and regulations.
  • Supervise and guide the quality control team to ensure effective quality assessment.
  • Ensure all quality control equipment and test instruments are calibrated and maintained.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to resolve quality issues related to raw materials or components.
  • Facilitate training programs for employees to boost awareness and understanding of quality standards.
  • Participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives and quality enhancement projects.
  • Report and document any deviations or non-conformance from established quality standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a quality control role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify quality issues effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to report accurately on findings.
  • Proficiency in using quality control software and data analysis tools is required.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of relevant quality standards such as ISO 9001 is highly desirable.
