Job Description

The Quality Control (QC) Officer plays a vital role in ensuring that the products and services delivered by a company meet the highest quality standards. The position involves developing, implementing, and managing quality control systems designed to ensure continuous production of advanced composites and applications consistent with established standards, customer specifications, and production goals. A QC Officer utilizes analytical skills to improve processes and works closely with production staff to promote a quality-focused environment. This role requires a detail-oriented mindset, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of quality control methodologies and standards. As a QC Officer, you will be responsible for designing quality tests, identifying product defects, and ensuring reliability and excellence within your company's offerings. The role often involves collaborating with various departments to ensure that quality standards are maintained across all operations.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality control processes and systems in alignment with production goals.
  • Collaborate with production team to ensure compliance with product specifications and standards.
  • Conduct routine inspections and quality checks on products and processes.
  • Identify, document, and resolve production issues through thorough quality assessments.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for quality improvement initiatives.
  • Manage non-compliance and corrective action processes effectively and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of quality control inspections and activities.
  • Prepare detailed reports on inspection findings and present suggestions for improvements.
  • Train production staff on quality standards and procedures to ensure consistent adherence.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure incoming materials meet required quality standards.
  • Assist with internal and external audits to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Stay updated on quality control methodologies and technology to maintain high standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in quality management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a quality control or assurance capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001 and associated regulations.
  • Proficiency in quality control software and data analysis tools is desirable.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and influence cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
