Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key suppliers for efficient procurement.
  • Negotiate advantageous terms and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
  • Analyze market trends to identify potential opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Manage purchase order processes, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of goods.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand and identify purchasing needs.
  • Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular evaluations to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Implement strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce risks.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company procurement policies.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on procurement activities for senior management review.
  • Resolve any disputes or issues that arise with suppliers regarding orders or deliveries.
  • Identify and assess potential new suppliers to diversify supply options.
  • Coordinate with the finance department to ensure accurate billing and payment processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in procurement or purchasing roles.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of cost reduction.
  • Excellent analytical abilities for understanding market trends and supplier behavior.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective relationship management.
  • Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
