Job Description

The Property Maintenance Coordinator is a pivotal role within property management enterprises, responsible for overseeing and ensuring the upkeep and functionality of residential or commercial properties. This position involves coordinating various maintenance activities required for the smooth operation of the property while ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. The coordinator acts as the primary point of contact for tenants, maintenance staff, and third-party vendors, thereby requiring excellent organizational and communication skills. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage all property maintenance activities efficiently and effectively.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for maintenance requests and issues.
  • Schedule routine inspections to ensure property compliance with safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and property repairs.
  • Oversee the work of maintenance staff and external vendors on-site.
  • Ensure timely resolution of tenant complaints and maintenance issues.
  • Create and implement preventive maintenance plans for all building systems.
  • Coordinate with contractors for renovations or major repairs as required.
  • Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with tenants and vendors.
  • Ensure all maintenance work complies with building codes and regulations.
  • Regularly update property management software with maintenance activities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in property management or maintenance coordination role.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills are essential to this role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse groups.
  • Knowledge of building systems, repairs, and general maintenance techniques.
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines consistently.
  • Certification in Property Management or Facility Management is a plus.
