Job Description

A Medical Representative plays a critical role in the healthcare industry, acting as the vital link between pharmaceutical companies and healthcare professionals. This position is primarily tasked with promoting and selling a company's medications, prescription drugs, and medical products to a variety of healthcare providers, including doctors, nurses, and pharmacists. Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of the company's pharmaceutical products and their benefits.

  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to strategize and achieve sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Deliver informative presentations to healthcare professionals, highlighting product features.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitor products, and regulatory changes.
  • Coordinate with marketing and support teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Provide feedback from the market to help in product development and improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a sales or medical representative role in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or a related field preferred.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are essential.
  • Strong understanding of medical terms and pharmaceutical market dynamics.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with healthcare personnel.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets consistently.
  • Willingness to travel for face-to-face meetings and industry events regularly.
