Job Description

The Manager – Production & Operations Planning plays a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing the production and operations processes within the organization. This position is responsible for leading and coordinating efforts across various departments to ensure the efficient production and seamless operation of company facilities. The candidate will be tasked with developing strategic plans and managing resources to meet production goals while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. This role requires a proactive leader with a strong analytical mind and the ability to adapt to changing production demands and operational challenges. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to lead and motivate their team effectively, ensuring a balance between production output and operational sustainability.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement production strategies to meet organizational objectives and targets.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to enhance the production workflow and processes.
  • Monitor production output and operational standards to ensure high-quality output.

  • Report on productivity and other performance indicators on a regular basis.

  • Manage and mentor production teams, providing guidance and support for professional development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Production Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within production and operations planning.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage teams effectively.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving capabilities are essential.
  • Experience in developing and implementing operational strategies and plans.
  • Proficient in production management software and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
