Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems.
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle using agile methodologies.
• Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code that complies with company standards.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability through performance tuning.
• Understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Debug and resolve technical issues and provide timely updates on progress.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and technical documentation.
• Work with DevOps teams to automate deployment and ensure system reliability.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance skills.
• Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure application performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and ship new features.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proven work experience as a Java Backend Developer for at least 3 years.
• Strong understanding of Java and Java EE technologies and frameworks.
• Experience with RESTful services and API design and development.
• Familiarity with databases and database architecture, such as MySQL or MongoDB.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Excellent analytical skills and strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and communicate effectively.
