Job Description

As an IT Helpdesk Executive, you will be at the forefront of ensuring seamless IT operations within our organization. This critical role involves addressing technical issues, offering superb technical support, and ensuring that end-users have a productive IT experience. You will be the first point of contact for IT-related queries and problems, managing a wide range of technical issues, from simple software glitches to more complex network challenges. Your role will involve collaborating with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. You will also be responsible for maintaining IT systems and ensuring they operate smoothly, contributing to the overall productivity and efficiency of our company. Our ideal candidate is someone with exceptional problem-solving skills, a strong technical background, and excellent communication abilities.


Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to IT support requests from employees via phone and email.
  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software problems efficiently.
  • Follow up with staff to ensure full resolution of issues and satisfaction.
  • Set up and configure new desktop environments, including hardware and software.
  • Maintain records of issues and resolutions for reporting and reference purposes.
  • Assist in network management including troubleshooting connectivity issues.
  • Collaborate with other IT professionals to resolve complex cases timely.
  • Stay updated with the latest in technology trends and advancements.
  • Implement security protocols to maintain a safe IT environment.
  • Train employees on common software applications and best practices.
  • Manage and update the IT inventory, including both software and hardware.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in an IT support or helpdesk role.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail required.
  • Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written are essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations calmly.
  • Proficiency in remote desktop applications and helpdesk software tools.
