Responsibilities

• Develop detailed and innovative design plans for interior spaces of projects.
• Collaborate with clients to identify project requirements and design preferences.
• Create mood boards and present design concepts to clients for approval.
• Select and source furniture, fabrics, paints, and other interior materials.
• Coordinate with architects, builders, and contractors to ensure cohesive design execution.
• Prepare detailed drawings and 3D models using design software and tools.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in interior design and decor styles.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently and effectively.
• Supervise the fit-out process and installation of furniture and accessories.
• Provide expert advice on space planning, room layout, and overall design aesthetics.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building regulations at all times.
• Maintain a portfolio of completed projects for client presentation and marketing purposes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field is essential.
• Proven experience as an Interior Designer or similar role in the industry.
• Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous projects and accomplished design work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within deadlines and budgets.
• In-depth knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and materials.
