The Housekeeping Executive plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of a facility, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff. Responsibilities

  • Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and reorder as necessary to maintain stock.
  • Conduct regular inspections of premises to identify cleanliness and maintenance needs.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and management staff regarding repair work and facility updates.
  • Train new staff members on company policies, cleaning methods, and safety protocols.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints effectively, maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Create daily work schedules for housekeeping staff, ensuring adequate coverage.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including sanitation guidelines.
  • Prepare and manage housekeeping budgets, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment for all housekeeping team members.
  • Maintain detailed records of housekeeping activities, inventories, and employee performance.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within the housekeeping industry is required.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on effective communication.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for this role.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and chemical handling practices.
  • Proficiency in using housekeeping software and standard office applications is desirable.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality management is a plus.
