Job Description

As a Garments Accessories Purchase Executive, you will be an integral part of the supply chain management team, responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring garment accessories essential for production operations. Your role involves forming relationships with suppliers, managing purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining quality standards. In addition, you will contribute to strategic sourcing plans, evaluate market trends, and assess alternative materials to optimize cost efficiency. Your attention to detail and excellent negotiation skills will be vital as you strive to secure the best deals while ensuring compliance with procurement policies and specifications. You will collaborate closely with various departments including design, production, and quality assurance to ensure the seamless execution of projects and enhance overall productivity.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct research to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities and credentials.
  • Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers for garment accessories.
  • Manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain a robust supplier database with detailed records of past purchases and transactions.
  • Coordinate with the design and production teams to determine accessory requirements and specifications.
  • Monitor the quality and timeliness of accessory deliveries from suppliers.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs.
  • Analyze market trends and price fluctuations to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Ensure all purchased accessories comply with industry standards and company policies.
  • Review and resolve issues related to purchase orders or supplier performance discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for seamless integration of accessories within production schedules.
  • Prepare reports on spending, procurement activities, and savings achieved through sourcing strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in purchasing, supply chain management, or procurement roles.
  • Strong knowledge of garment accessories and related market trends.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills essential for supplier interactions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software applications.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
