The role of a Garments Accessories Purchase Executive is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of garment manufacturing processes by sourcing high-quality accessories, trims, and components necessary for production. Responsibilities

  • Identify and source high-quality garment accessories from domestic and international suppliers.
  • Evaluate and negotiate purchasing contracts with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers for reliable service.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to understand accessory needs and specifications.
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure a continuous supply of necessary garment accessories.
  • Monitor market trends to identify potential new suppliers and products for the company.
  • Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of purchased accessories.
  • Develop and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising on the quality of accessories.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data for future reference.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and external regulations in the purchasing process.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise between suppliers and the production team.
  • Conduct reviews and analysis of purchasing patterns to improve efficiency and value.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in purchasing, preferably within the garment manufacturing industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to secure favorable terms.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle purchasing challenges effectively.
  • Attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency to meet production timelines.
