As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will serve as a vital link between the guests and the hotel management, ensuring that the entire front office operations are executed smoothly and efficiently. This position involves supervising the front desk staff, overseeing the daily operations, and upholding the service standards of the establishment. You will be responsible for managing guest inquiries, handling complaints, and ensuring that all guests are provided with a welcoming and hospitable environment. With a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills, the successful candidate will drive team performance, enhance guest satisfaction, and maintain a high-quality standard of customer service.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily front desk operations and ensure all procedures are followed correctly.
  • Train, mentor, and manage the performance of the front desk team members.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints and issues promptly with professionalism.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient check-in and check-out procedures for all guests.
  • Maintain effective communication with other departments to streamline operations.
  • Sustain a clean, neat, and organized front desk and lobby area at all times.
  • Monitor inventory and order front desk supplies as needed to avoid shortages.
  • Implement and maintain security procedures to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
  • Generate reports on front desk activities and present findings to management.
  • Facilitate and participate in staff meetings to discuss operational issues or initiatives.
  • Foster a positive working environment to promote teamwork and exceptional service.
  • Assist in scheduling and ensuring front desk coverage for shifts and peak times.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred, but not required.
  • Proven experience as a front desk supervisor or relevant position in hospitality.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage daily operations efficiently.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and familiarity with hotel management software.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
