Job Description

As a Food & Beverage Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the entire food and beverage operations within a hospitality establishment. Your primary goal will be to ensure that guests have an exceptional dining experience while maximizing the establishment's profitability. You will work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations, maintain high standards of service and hygiene, and continuously enhance the quality of the menu offerings. This role requires a customer-focused individual with strong leadership skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement restaurant policies and procedures to enhance service standards.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring service quality.
  • Collaborate with chefs to design innovative menus that appeal to a wide audience.
  • Monitor food and beverage inventory, ordering supplies as needed for optimal stock levels.
  • Analyze financial data to maximize profitability and improve cost control measures.
  • Train, supervise, and assess team members to maintain high performance standards.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve service issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with marketing to develop promotions that boost customer engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean environment.
  • Manage vendor relationships to secure quality supplies at competitive prices.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, policies, and updates effectively.
  • Utilize guest feedback to make informed decisions on service and menu improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or related field preferred.
  • At least five years of experience in food and beverage management roles.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team successfully.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proven track record of managing costs and maximizing profits in hospitality settings.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with staff, guests, and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in food and beverage management software and point-of-sale systems.
