Job Description

The Food & Beverage Supervisor is a vital role within our hospitality team, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant and ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience. This position requires a dynamic individual who can lead and inspire a team, maintain high standards of service, and manage the fine details of food and beverage service. The F&B Supervisor works closely with both the culinary team and the service staff to ensure the seamless running of the restaurant, bar, or any other food service venues within the establishment. This role calls for an individual who is both goal-oriented and customer-focused, with a natural ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House operations.
  • Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction in all F&B outlets.
  • Respond efficiently to customer complaints and provide corrective action where needed.
  • Organize and supervise shifts to ensure consistent service delivery standards.
  • Train staff to use POS systems efficiently, and in restaurant protocols.
  • Conduct regular inspections of dining facilities to ensure cleanliness levels are maintained.
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations in all working areas.
  • Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it continuously.
  • Promote and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction at all times.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Implement innovative strategies to improve restaurant sales and reduce costs.
  • Handle inventory, manage stock levels, and coordinate supply orders efficiently.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as an F&B Supervisor or similar role in hospitality.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food service management and operations.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills with a demonstrated ability to lead a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues diplomatically.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and handle challenging situations.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations in food and beverage services industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for this role.
  • Capability to stand and walk for extended periods while supervising activities.
