Job Description

The Executive - Export plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing the export operations of a company. This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of international trade laws, export regulations, and global market trends. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all export transactions comply with both domestic and international regulations while optimizing cost efficiencies. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement export strategies to optimize global market penetration.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade and export regulations and standards.
  • Coordinate with logistics partners to streamline shipping operations and processes.
  • Manage export documentation including invoices, licenses, and permits accurately.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with customs officials and other regulatory agencies.
  • Analyze international market trends to identify new business opportunities.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of tenders and shipping bids.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve export-related issues and challenges.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff on export procedures and policies.

  • Negotiate terms and shipping methods with international and domestic partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in international business, logistics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in export management or similar roles.
  • Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and export compliance practices.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential for the role.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience with export software applications and logistical management systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint applications.
