Job Description

The role of a Document Controller is crucial in managing the smooth flow of information within an organization. Document Controllers are responsible for handling, organizing, and ensuring accessibility of documents essential for a company's operations. Responsibilities

  • Maintain an updated register of all incoming and outgoing documents.
  • Provide training and support to staff on document management software usage.
  • Coordinate with external parties for document exchange and control processes.
  • Protect confidential information by implementing appropriate security measures.
  • Monitor document distribution and ensure timely delivery to relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports and summaries for management on document control activities and status.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of three years experience in a similar document control role.
  • Proficiency in document control software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and best practices in document management.
