Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Customer Support Officer to join our team. As a Customer Support Officer, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and service requests efficiently and professionally. Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and effectively to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat.
  • Resolve product or service issues by clarifying customer complaints and determining the cause.
  • Generate sales leads and forward them to the appropriate sales representatives as needed.
  • Document all customer interactions and maintain accurate records of customer information.
  • Assist in onboarding new clients and provide training on using company products or services.
  • Maintain a detailed knowledge of company products and services to provide accurate information.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve complex customer issues.
  • Regularly update customer support databases with information and resolution details.
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies to maintain service standards.
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify trends and suggest improvements.
  • Meet customer service goals and performance targets set by management.
  • Provide feedback to the company on trends noted from customer interactions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a customer support role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for this position.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices is highly desirable for this role.
  • Empathic listener with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a higher education degree is a plus.
