An Accounting Associate - Level II plays an integral role in the financial operations of a company by ensuring accuracy in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and adherence to compliance standards. Responsibilities

  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies effectively and timely.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations in all financial transactions.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce relevant financial reports.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing essential financial insights.
  • Utilize accounting software to perform essential accounting functions and tasks.
  • Conduct regular reviews of financial statements to identify any inconsistencies.
  • Assist in developing and implementing new systems and procedures to enhance operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail is crucial for the role.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate complex financial information.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and regulations.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
