As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing visual media, such as television shows, films, and digital marketing content, to create engaging, high-quality videos. You will use your keen eye for detail and creative flair to piece together raw footage, animations, sound effects, and music to deliver captivating audiovisual experiences. Responsibilities

• Review raw footage to create a shot decision list based on the scenes' value.
• Conduct color correction and other enhancements to improve video quality.
• Collaborate with directors and producers to understand overall video objectives.
• Edit videos using professional software like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
• Integrate soundtracks, sound effects, and dialogues to synchronize with visuals.
• Ensure correct formatting and resolution adjustments for various digital platforms.
• Stay updated on new editing techniques, tools, and technologies in the industry.
• Work closely with graphic designers to include animations and motion graphics.
• Provide creative input into storyline structuring to enhance viewer engagement.
• Organize and manage media files and archives efficiently for future projects.
• Create trailers or promotional snippets to generate audience interest in full content.
• Review final sequences to ensure quality standards and alignment with the vision.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Video Editor in a professional setting, minimum two years.
• Proficiency in video editing software, including Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating video editing skills and creative storytelling ability.
• Excellent time-management skills to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
• Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing is a bonus.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse creative teams.
