Responsibilities

• Develop and implement test strategies and frameworks for automated testing.
• Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure software quality.
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to design test scenarios and explain results.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed defect reports and test metrics.
• Lead efforts in identifying, documenting, and tracking bug-fixing processes.
• Ensure test environments are maintained and up to date with current software builds.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of test processes and automation practices.
• Mentor junior test engineers and provide guidance on automation best practices.
• Review code changes and ensure quality assurance in software development processes.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and team meetings to represent QA interests.
• Perform exploratory testing in parallel with automation to uncover edge cases.
• Collaborate with product managers to clarify requirements and testability issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in software test automation and quality assurance.
• Proficient in using test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes, specifically Jenkins or Bamboo.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and test-driven development (TDD).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
