Job Description

The Senior Parts & Services Consultant is a pivotal role within our organization, tasked with ensuring that our clients receive top-notch service and support for their equipment and machinery. This position requires a blend of comprehensive product knowledge, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to devise solutions that meet the specific needs of diverse clientele. As a Senior Parts & Services Consultant, you will be responsible for guiding and advising customers on the parts and services necessary to optimize the performance and longevity of their equipment. You will also be instrumental in developing and maintaining long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and retention. The role demands a proactive approach to identifying potential issues and recommending preventive measures, all while working within a dynamic team environment to achieve the company's revenue and customer satisfaction objectives.


Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice on parts and services to enhance equipment performance.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and services offered by the company.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
  • Coordinate and communicate with the technical team to troubleshoot client issues.
  • Identify opportunities to improve service offerings and client satisfaction.
  • Assist in inventory management to ensure the availability of key parts.
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet sales and revenue targets.
  • Keep accurate records of customer interactions and transactions for future reference.
  • Monitor market trends to provide competitive product and service offerings.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with customers to ensure service excellence.
  • Prepare detailed proposals and quotations tailored to customer needs.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to align on strategies and customer acquisition.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a similar role within the industry.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle and machinery parts and services.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills vital for client interaction.
  • Proven track record in meeting sales targets and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite is required.
