Job Description

As a Senior HR Generalist, you will be a vital component of the Human Resources team, ensuring the seamless execution of our HR strategies and initiatives. This position calls for a dynamic leader with a broad understanding of HR operations, who will work closely with senior management and various department heads to align business objectives with employee needs. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in HR practices and employee management, excellent communication skills, and a strategic mindset. Responsibilities

  • Oversee and conduct the recruitment and selection process ensuring a high-quality workforce.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the overall business objectives.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, resolving issues promptly.
  • Conduct performance management activities, including appraisals, feedback sessions, and development plans.
  • Manage employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues conflict resolution.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to the HR team on various human resources functions.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and national labor laws and regulations.
  • Update and maintain employee records in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.
  • Design and implement employee training programs to enhance skill sets and job performance.
  • Coordinate the benefits administration including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
  • Advocate a culture of engagement, inclusivity, and continuous improvement in the workplace.
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics and analytics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar senior HR generalist role.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations at various governmental levels.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills are required.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
