Job Description

As a Retail Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving the sales and revenue growth of our retail operations. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with customers, understand their needs, and offer them suitable products and services. You will work closely with the store management team to ensure a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers. Responsibilities

  • Engage and assist customers to determine their needs and promote products.
  • Drive sales through excellent customer service and thorough product knowledge.
  • Maintain the store’s visual merchandising standards to attract potential customers.
  • Process customer transactions using point of sale (POS) software efficiently.
  • Monitor stock levels regularly and coordinate with management for restocking.
  • Handle customer complaints and issues professionally and in a timely manner.
  • Understand and maintain awareness of promotions and advertisements to inform customers.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and share market insights with management.
  • Participate in inventory management duties including stock counts and organization.
  • Keep up to date with current market trends and competitive products.
  • Assist in training new team members in retail sales processes and customer service.
  • Meet and exceed personal and store sales targets consistently.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Executive or similar position.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
  • Ability to operate point of sale (POS) systems and other store equipment.
  • Strong customer service skills with a proactive attitude to sales.
  • Capability to handle sales targets and work effectively under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and public holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional sales training is a plus.
