Job Description

The role of a Retail Sales Executive is an integral part of the retail sector, dealing predominantly with customer interactions and sales processes to enhance customer satisfaction and drive store profitability. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to converse effectively with diverse customer profiles. Responsibilities

  • Engage customers with effective and courteous sales communication at all times.
  • Identify opportunities to promote and sell products to meet sales targets.
  • Deliver prompt and efficient service to resolve customer inquiries and issues.
  • Maintain and organize merchandise displays according to company guidelines.
  • Assist in stock management, including restocking and inventory control tasks.
  • Participate actively in store meetings and training sessions for skill development.
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve shared sales goals and store objectives.
  • Keep updated with product knowledge and market trends relevant to the store.
  • Implement effective loss prevention strategies while on the sales floor.
  • Report any discrepancies, damage, or issues to management promptly for resolution.
  • Exceed customer service expectations, fostering brand loyalty and repeat business.

Requirements

  • Previous retail sales experience in a dynamic customer-facing environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers.
  • Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets consistently.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in merchandise handling.
  • Competence in using POS systems for transaction processing and sales tracking.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education qualification as a minimum requirement.
