The Retail Associate is a vital part of our team, providing exceptional service to customers while ensuring a welcoming and organized shopping environment. This role involves a variety of responsibilities including customer assistance, merchandise handling, and maintaining store cleanliness. Retail Associates are expected to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, promoting our products and providing accurate information to aid in their shopping experience. You will also be responsible for capturing sales, stocking shelves, and assisting in inventory counts. Responsibilities

• Assist customers by providing product recommendations and detailed information.
• Maintain a tidy, organized, and visually appealing sales floor area.
• Process customer transactions accurately and handle cash registers efficiently.
• Replenish stock on shelves and ensure all products are correctly priced.
• Facilitate customer returns and exchanges following company policies.
• Offer support and fulfill duties during promotional events and sales campaigns.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales goals and store targets.
• Participate in regular inventory counts and report discrepancies if any.
• Provide immediate assistance in resolving customer complaints and issues.
• Ensure the security of store merchandise by monitoring suspicious activities.
• Attend team meetings and participate in all training sessions as required.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by the store manager or supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification is required.
• At least one year of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical tasks comfortably.
• Strong numerical skills for processing transactions and handling finances.
• Flexibility in working hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic computer operations.
