Job Description

The Quality Assurance Manager in the textiles industry is responsible for ensuring that all products meet the necessary standards of quality before they reach the consumer. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the reputation and integrity of the company's brand by ensuring that only high-quality products are delivered. The Quality Assurance Manager will develop and oversee the quality control processes and strive for continuous improvement in all manufacturing stages. They will also collaborate with various departments to establish quality benchmarks, addressing any issues promptly to minimize disruptions. This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of textile manufacturing processes.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures in the textiles domain.
  • Monitor all stages of production to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Establish quality benchmarks and ensure they are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of production processes to ensure quality.
  • Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve quality-related issues.
  • Lead the quality assurance team, providing guidance and training as required.
  • Analyse quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure that corrective actions are implemented for any non-conformance issues.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of quality assurance activities and results.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and standards to keep quality processes relevant.
  • Participate in product development to provide insights on quality considerations.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure the quality of raw materials meets company standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance within the textile industry.
  • Strong understanding of textile manufacturing processes and quality standards.
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for various stakeholder engagements.
  • Proficient in using quality management software and familiar with industry regulations.
