Job Description

The QA/QC Executive – Food is a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity, quality, and overall safety of food products within our organization. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a comprehensive understanding of food safety regulations and quality assurance protocols. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the quality control processes, conducting inspections, and ensuring that all food products meet or exceed industry standards and regulatory requirements. They will be instrumental in implementing and maintaining quality assurance systems, thereby playing a significant role in continuous improvement initiatives. The QA/QC Executive will work closely with production teams to foster an environment of quality and compliance by conducting regular audits and providing vital training to staff.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality assurance and control procedures for food products.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality-related issues promptly.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation on quality assurance activities and findings.
  • Ensure all food products meet industry regulations and standards for safety and quality.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on quality assurance best practices.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during regulatory inspections and comply with their guidelines.
  • Analyze quality control test results and send recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports detailing the compliance and quality status of products.
  • Monitor and evaluate quality assurance engagements to improve operational efficiency.
  • Design and implement systems to track product quality improvements over time.
  • Respond promptly to quality and customer service complaints, providing effective solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a quality assurance role within the food industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and quality control software applications.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
