Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive security testing on new and existing products to identify vulnerabilities.
• Develop and implement security test plans, test scripts, and test cases.
• Collaborate with software developers and IT staff to remediate any identified security issues.
• Report security vulnerabilities and risks to the development and management teams promptly.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security technology and testing methodologies.
• Analyze security test results and prepare detailed reports summarizing the findings.
• Participate in security reviews and provide expert security advice for product development.
• Design automated security testing tools and scripts to improve testing efficiency.
• Assist in the creation of security training materials for product development staff.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and security regulations in all product testing.
• Perform risk assessments and evaluate the security posture of developed applications.
• Work with third-party security vendors to perform comprehensive security evaluations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a security tester or in a similar role in cybersecurity.
• Strong understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, and authorization.
• Familiarity with security testing tools such as Nessus, Metasploit, or Burp Suite.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to quickly identify security threats.
• Understanding of web application security, network security, and mobile security testing.
• Good communication skills to effectively present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Certifications such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) are a plus.
