Performance Tester (225-928)

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Performance Tester to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of software applications under various conditions. Your primary focus will be on designing and executing performance test plans to identify bottlenecks and optimize system performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of performance testing tools, methodologies, and best practices, along with excellent analytical skills to interpret test results and provide insightful recommendations. As a Performance Tester, your work will directly contribute to enhancing the user experience by ensuring systems function smoothly under peak loads.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive performance test plans, strategies, and scripts.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify performance requirements and objectives.
• Execute performance tests, including load, stress, and endurance testing scenarios.
• Analyze and interpret test results to identify performance bottlenecks and issues.
• Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance-related defects.
• Create detailed performance reports and documentation for various stakeholders.
• Continuously monitor performance metrics to ensure system stability post-deployment.
• Recommend performance tuning and optimization techniques based on test outcomes.
• Stay updated with the latest performance testing tools and industry trends.
• Automate performance testing processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Participate in code reviews related to performance and scalability improvements.
• Advise on best practices for software design and architecture for optimal performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Performance Tester or similar software testing role.
• Strong knowledge of performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, or similar.
• Excellent analytical skills for interpreting and summarizing test data insights.
• Experience with scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, or Shell scripting.
• Familiarity with cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks.
