Job Description

As an Outdoor Sales Representative, you will be the driving force behind generating new sales opportunities and fostering beneficial relationships with clients. You will actively travel within a designated territory, engaging with potential customers face-to-face, showcasing the products, and convincing them of their value. Your dynamic approach and persuasive communication skills will be essential in understanding customer needs and responding to their queries and concerns effectively. You will play a crucial role in representing the company, promoting sales, and growing the business by meeting or exceeding monthly and annual sales goals. If you have a passion for sales, excellent negotiation skills, and enjoy working in the field rather than being confined to an office, this role will be the perfect fit for you.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate potential leads within the assigned sales territory.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with prospective clients to present products.
  • Develop and maintain long-lasting relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Educate customers on the features and benefits of products and services offered.
  • Negotiate terms of sales agreements and close sales effectively.
  • Consistently meet or exceed individual and team sales goals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure satisfaction.
  • Gather feedback from clients to improve communication and sales strategies.
  • Prepare accurate and timely sales reports and forecasts for management.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to enhance sales efforts.
  • Attend training sessions and sales meetings to update product knowledge.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitors’ activities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in an outdoor or field sales role.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills are essential.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the sales territory as required.
  • Capability to work independently and manage time effectively under minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills to handle multiple clients and priorities at once.
  • Proficiency with computer software applications such as CRM systems.
  • High school diploma is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
