Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Cardiologist to join our esteemed medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and performing interventional procedures on patients with cardiovascular diseases. Responsibilities

  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations and develop treatment plans for cardiovascular disorders.
  • Perform interventional procedures such as angioplasty and stent placements.
  • Collaborate and consult with medical professionals regarding cardiac patient care.
  • Maintain patient records with accurate and up-to-date information on treatments.
  • Provide detailed explanations of procedures and treatments to patients and families.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide emergency care when required.
  • Stay in compliance with all hospital policies and medical standards.
  • Keep current with developments, advancements, and research in cardiology.
  • Educate patients on lifestyle changes and medication to manage cardiac health.
  • Supervise and train medical residents and junior staff members effectively.
  • Advise on the equipment and technological resources needed for cardiology care.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Valid state medical license with specialization in Cardiology required.
  • Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology preferred and highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in interventional cardiology practice.
  • Strong understanding of interventional cardiology procedures and patient care.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex procedures clearly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team of medical professionals.
