Responsibilities

  • Greet and register incoming guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procedures.
  • Manage phone lines and direct calls to appropriate departments or personnel.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, finding effective solutions.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of room types, pricing, and availability to assist with reservations.
  • Process guest payments, refunds, and ensure proper methods of transaction.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to fulfill guest requests and resolve issues.
  • Maintain orderly front desk operations and ensure that it remains tidy and organized.
  • Keep accurate records of room assignments and other pertinent information.
  • Provide local information and recommendations to guests upon request.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing additional tasks as assigned by management.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and standards in all guest interactions.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent educational certification is required.
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a hospitality setting, is preferred.
  • Proficiency with hotel management software and basic computer skills required.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
