Job Description

The Finance Associate plays a critical role within the finance department, supporting the organization in achieving its financial goals. This position requires a detail-oriented and analytical professional who can process financial transactions, conduct financial analysis, and perform reporting tasks to ensure compliance and internal controls are adhered to. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
  • Process and verify financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Participate in the budgeting process, providing data and analytical support as needed.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and forecast future financial outcomes.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
  • Manage accounts payable/receivable activities to ensure timely payments and collections.
  • Coordinate internal and external audit processes and assist in audit activities as required.
  • Support the finance team with data entry and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Prepare and process payroll by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial efficiency and accountability.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies by consulting financial databases.
  • Assist senior finance professionals in various financial planning and analysis initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in financial roles, ideally within a corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
  • Proficiency in financial software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to work with complex financial data.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work output.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with various departments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Capability to adapt to new challenges and consistently meet deadlines.
