You will be involved in every aspect of the design process, from conceptual inspiration and sketching, to final production. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, possess the ability to forecast trends, and be passionate about fashion. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are produced efficiently, meet brand expectations, and innovate within the market.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative ideas for fashion collections that align with brand vision.
• Research market trends and inspire new designs based on findings.
• Create detailed technical sketches and assist in garment production processes.
• Collaborate with other departments, including marketing and production teams.
• Participate in fittings and make adjustments based on feedback and requirements.
• Use technology and software to present designs and concepts to stakeholders.
• Ensure all products meet the company's high standards of quality and fashion trends.
• Source and select fabrics, trims, and accessories appropriate for the designs.
• Attend fashion shows, trade exhibitions, and other events to stay informed.
• Prepare and present project plans and collection timelines to management.
• Work within budget constraints to produce quality and innovative designs.
• Mentor junior designers and interns to support their development and growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience working in fashion design or similar roles.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design skills and creative vision is essential.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Excellent understanding of garment construction, textiles, and patterns.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills are essential for this role.
