Job Description

The role of a Data Entry Operator is crucial in ensuring that operational databases remain highly accurate and up to date. In this position, the individual will be responsible for inputting and maintaining data within various database systems and applications. The Data Entry Operator plays a pivotal role in optimizing the flow of information by accurately entering, updating, and validating data on a timely basis. Responsibilities

  • Accurately input detailed information into different database systems daily.
  • Review data for completeness and consistency before entering into systems.
  • Maintain data integrity by updating or correcting any discrepancies found.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless and accurate data flow.
  • Prepare and sort documents for data entry as per standard protocols.
  • Respond to information requests and provide updates as necessary and promptly.
  • Compile, verify accuracy, and sort information according to documented procedures.
  • Manage confidential information with due care and comply with data protection policies.
  • Develop and maintain effective record keeping and file management systems.
  • Generate reports and other documents as required by management or clients.
  • Troubleshoot database-related issues and collaborate with the IT department for solutions.
  • Ensure timely submission of completed tasks and strive to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification in any related field.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
  • Excellent typing skills with a minimum accuracy of 90% and speed.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy.
  • Familiarity with office equipment such as printers and scanners is preferred.
  • Ability to concentrate for extended periods, focusing on detailed tasks.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective teamwork.
