Responsibilities

  • Accurately process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges at the counter.
  • Offer detailed product information and guidance to assist customer decision-making.
  • Resolve customer queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient customer service flow.
  • Regularly update product knowledge to provide current and accurate advice.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels to prevent shortages and overstock situations.
  • Input customer data accurately into the system for sales and inventory records.
  • Assist in arranging promotional displays and updating pricing labels as required.
  • Execute upselling techniques to maximize each customer interaction's value.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to sales and customer interaction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
  • Proven experience in a retail sales or customer service position.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer focus.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in transactions.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively resolve conflicts.
