Job Description

A Compliance Analyst plays a crucial role within an organization to ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and policies pertinent to the industry and the organization’s standards. They are responsible for implementing compliance programs and frameworks, monitoring compliance efforts, and supporting the organization in maintaining ethical and regulatory integrity across all functions. Their tasks include researching legal standards, developing control systems, and recommending improvements. As a Compliance Analyst, you will be responsible for staying current with regulatory changes, conducting risk assessments, and providing insights to prevent regulatory issues. This challenging yet rewarding position demands a high level of analytical skills, attention to detail, and an in-depth understanding of industry regulations.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement compliance programs aligned with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Monitor operational processes to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct periodic risk assessments to identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability.
  • Regularly review and update company policies to reflect changes in laws or regulations.
  • Prepare and present compliance reports to stakeholders, management, and regulatory bodies.
  • Offer guidance and training to staff on compliance-related processes and procedures.
  • Investigate compliance issues that arise and recommend corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with legal teams to address and resolve compliance challenges effectively.
  • Partner with internal and external auditors to ensure comprehensive compliance audits.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in compliance.
  • Manage and maintain records of compliance activities and decisions accurately.
  • Support the development of compliance tools and techniques to enhance company practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in compliance, auditing, or regulatory roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for regulatory review.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact across departments.
  • Solid understanding of industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective compliance programs.
  • Proficiency in using compliance monitoring software and related tools.
