Job Description

The Clinic Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of a healthcare clinic. This position is critical for managing administrative tasks, supporting healthcare professionals, and delivering exceptional patient service. The Clinic Coordinator is often the first point of contact for patients and plays a key role in coordinating appointments, managing clinic schedules, and maintaining patient records. This role demands a highly organized individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily activities of the clinic to ensure effective operations.
  • Provide administrative support to healthcare professionals to enhance workflow.
  • Manage patient appointments, ensuring optimal use of clinic resources.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of information.
  • Handle patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Ensure the clinic is adequately stocked with necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Coordinate with insurance companies for patient billing and claim processing.
  • Assist in the orientation and training of new clinic staff as required.
  • Prepare reports on clinic performance, scheduling, and patient satisfaction.
  • Facilitate communication between patients, doctors, and other healthcare providers.
  • Implement clinic policies and protocols to enhance patient care standards.
  • Oversee the cleanliness and organization of clinic facilities daily.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare management or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a healthcare administrative role.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to multitasking in a busy setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in medical software systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with medical billing and health insurance procedures.
  • Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and care.
