Job Description

A Clinic Coordinator plays a crucial role in the smooth operation of a healthcare facility. This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative and operational tasks of a clinic to ensure it runs efficiently. The Clinic Coordinator acts as an intermediary between the clinic staff, physicians, and patients, ensuring that all parties receive timely communication and information. Responsibilities

  • Monitor clinic's budget, ensuring resources are allocated and used appropriately.
  • Provide training and support to administrative staff to enhance productivity.
  • Implement and manage clinic policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Assist in the management of patient queries, complaints, or concerns professionally.
  • Oversee the clinic's inventory and order supplies as required to prevent shortages.
  • Track and report clinic performance metrics to optimize efficiency and services.
  • Facilitate communication between different departments within the healthcare facility.
  • Support the implementation of new healthcare programs or initiatives in the clinic.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare administrative role required.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in high-pressure environments.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, are essential.
  • Proficient in using medical software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and insurance billing is highly beneficial.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction and care.
