The Automation Tester role is a vital position within our organization, centered on ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. As an Automation Tester, you will design, develop, and execute automated tests to ensure product quality. You'll be responsible for identifying bugs, glitches, and other software problems. Your keen eye for detail and thorough understanding of software testing processes will allow us to develop more efficient software solutions. Moreover, you’ll collaborate closely with our development team, contributing to the entire software lifecycle, from initial planning and release to maintenance and updates. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our software meets the highest standards possible, ensuring a seamless user experience and driving customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using advanced testing tools and techniques.
• Collaborate with software developers to comprehend project scope and requirements thoroughly.
• Design test plans and test cases to identify errors and proposed improvements.
• Monitor automated test suite results to detect defects in a timely manner.
• Analyze and report test results, outlining potential improvements to stakeholders.
• Ensure software quality through manual and automated testing processes.
• Contribute to a continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline.
• Perform regression tests after any significant software updates or enhancements.
• Work alongside QA and DevOps teams to improve testing processes and tools.
• Participate in design and technical discussions providing insights on quality assurance.
• Implement best practices for test automation to maximize software reliability.
• Continuously update testing skills and knowledge to remain current in testing advancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in automation testing using modern testing frameworks and tools.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and procedures.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar tools.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple testing efforts and meet deadlines consistently.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with development teams.
• Experience with agile and iterative development practices and environments.
