Job Description

The Territory Account Executive is a pivotal role in our sales organization, responsible for driving revenue growth and market share within an assigned geographical territory. This individual will work independently, while also collaborating with the sales team, to identify new business opportunities and maintain existing accounts. Utilizing a consultative sales approach, the Territory Account Executive will deliver tailored solutions to meet the needs of our clients. This role requires a well-organized individual with excellent communication and negotiation skills, who is adept at building long-term relationships with a diverse client base. Success in this role will be measured by the ability to not only meet sales targets but also expand the customer base and ensure customer satisfaction through exceptional service delivery.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve assigned territory targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned region.
  • Maintain and deepen relationships with existing clients to maximize retention.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams for optimal customer solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure long-term and profitable sales.
  • Conduct market research to keep up-to-date with industry trends and competition.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights for improvement.
  • Coordinate with customer service teams to ensure seamless client experiences.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote company offerings.
  • Provide feedback to management regarding client needs and product enhancements.
  • Utilize CRM software to track sales activity and maintain accurate client records.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years experience in a sales or account management role.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a similar capacity.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills required.
  • Strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
